Customers can receive rebates for installing qualifying energy-efficient lighting in non-residential facilities.

Energy-efficient lighting offers many benefits to your customers, including but not limited to:

‍

• Reduction in energy use that can help save money on electric bills
• A more comfortable working environment for employees
• A more appealing atmosphere for customers

Through the Optimization Program, customers can upgrade their equipment, reduce system waste, and take advantage of financial incentives to offset the cost for installing recommended improvements.

Available upgrade measures include but are not limited to:

• Lighting systems and HVAC equipment scheduling
• Night temperature setback
• Chiller condenser temperature reset
• Discharge air temperature reset
• Static pressure reset
• Dual enthalpy economizer control
• Reduce VAV box minimum position
• Chilled water reset
• Outdoor air damper adjustments
• Coil cleaning
• Pump pressure reduction
• Scheduling non-HVAC equipment
• Advanced rooftop unit controls

Through the Building Automation Program, customers can upgrade their equipment, reduce system waste, and take advantage of financial incentives to offset the cost for installing recommended improvements

After the assessment, customers will receive a personalized report containing cost-effective options and easy-to-follow energy efficiency installation suggestions, such as simple measures like LED bulbs or faucet aerators, along with suggestions for larger energy-saving measures, such as LED fixtures, heat pump tune-ups and upgrades, smart thermostats and more. There will be incentives to help customers offset the cost of installing eligible improvements.

The program offers many benefits to the customer including:

• Improving PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness)
• Financial Incentives to help offset the cost of implementing the recommended improvements.
• Audit Assistance to identify qualifying measures, including a free energy audit from program staff or reimbursement if done with a participating contractor.

When you partner with Dominion Energy’s Energy Conservation Programs, we will send customers to you who are interested in purchasing ENERGY STAR commercial refrigerators and freezers, commercial convention ovens, commercial griddles, HVAC units, and more. Even better: you can earn extra rewards based on your participation level in the program.

The Small Business Improvement Enhanced Program provides customers with an on-site energy assessment of their facility.

Qualifying customers can receive incentives for making energy efficiency improvements identified during the assessment.

Upgrade measures available:

• Lighting systems such as LED lighting, exit signs and occupancy sensors
• HVAC system tune-up for air conditioners, heat pumps and air-cooled chillers
• Duct testing and sealing for air conditioners, heat pumps and chillers
• HVAC system upgrades such as variable frequency drives, economizers, programmable thermostats, mini splits, and a variety of HVAC systems
• Refrigerator Systems such as ECM fan motors, refrigerator doors, strip curtains, auto closers, anti-sweat door films and night covers for display cases
• Solar reduction window film to lower energy usage and improve comfort

Only general contractors in charge of the entire scope of a project are eligible for this program. Eligible building types include small and medium-sized offices, stand-alone retail shops, and outpatient health care facilities.

This energy efficiency program offers many benefits for customers, including but not limited to:

• In-depth and customized analysis of new construction project during the design phase to provide recommendations for energy efficiency upgrades
• Building energy simulation models to allow for “bundles” of measures to be tested for potential energy savings gains from interactive effects
• Financial analysis of energy-efficient measure options to help with decision making in design
• A more comfortable and energy-efficient environment for employees and customers
• Financial incentives that can help offset the cost of installing recommended improvements
• Energy-efficient design choices that can be made at the beginning of the project, which can save energy for years to come and prevent future costly retrofits

To conduct the Comprehensive Home Energy Audit, contractors are required to hold a BPI Building Analyst or BPI Building Professional certification. All measures are required to be installed per BPI standards. Installation of insulation and air sealing measures in the Residential Home Energy Evaluation Program will require the comprehensive home audit to be eligible for rebate incentives.

Discounted training for the BPI Building Professional Certification may be available for program participating contractors. Details will be shared during program orientation.

Whether customers select the Introductory Energy Check-Up or the Comprehensive Home Energy Audit, contractors will provide a walkthrough of their home to identify energy-saving opportunities. After the evaluation, customers will receive a personalized report containing cost-effective options and easy-to-follow energy efficiency suggestions, such as installing simple measures like LED bulbs or faucet aerators, along with suggestions for larger energy-saving measures, such as heat pump tune-ups and upgrades, duct sealing and more. There will be incentives to help customers offset the cost of installing eligible improvements.

The Manufactured Housing Program provides customers with an in-home energy assessment of their manufactured or mobile home. Customers will receive a personalized report containing cost-effective options and easy-to-follow recommendations in addition to having simple measures installed like LED bulbs and water heater pipe insulation. Incentives may be available to help customers offset the cost of installing the recommended improvements.

These energy-efficient improvements offer many benefits to customers, including but not limited to:

• Properly sealed duct and air distribution system, which can eliminate hot and cold spots in the customer’s facility
• Efficient heating and cooling systems, which can provide a more comfortable environment for the customer’s employees and customers
• Efficient refrigeration system and kitchen appliances, which can reduce energy use and save the customer money in the long run
