A heat pump upgrade can save you money as you use less energy to heat and cool your home with a more efficient model. Qualified customers can have existing heat pump equipment replaced with a more energy efficient heat pump and receive a rebate for the qualifying upgrade.
The Heat Pump Upgrade program is closed to new participants. To be eligible for a rebate, the service must have been completed by a participating contractor by December 24, 2016 and the rebate application must be either postmarked or submitted online by February 7, 2017.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all additional requested documents are submitted along with your application package for the rebate to be successfully processed.

Dominion Virginia Power’s Heat Pump Upgrade helps customers manage energy costs. This program can help reduce energy usage while improving the efficiency of your home. The incentive for the upgrade can offset the cost of a more efficient system.
Note: One upgrade rebate per unit.
