Non-Residential Heating and Cooling Program

Dominion Virginia Power's Non-Residential Heating & Cooling Efficiency Program provides qualified customers with rebate incentives for upgrading existing equipment or installing new energy efficient heating and cooling systems. The average program rebate is $1,650, and rebates are calculated based on the equipment installed.

Rebate Measures

Receive rebates for upgrading your facility’s HVAC systems with high efficiency upgrades like water cooled chillers, air cooled chillers, unitary heat pumps including package systems and split units with air handlers, geothermal heat pumps, air conditioners, variable frequency drives, economizers, and more.

Eligibility

This program is open to Dominion Virginia Power non-residential customers who have a demand of 10 megawatts or less and have not opted out of participation. Customers must be responsible for their own electric bill and either be the owner of the building, or be able to secure permission from the building owner to complete the project.

Rebate Details

Qualifying non-residential customers will receive a rebate based on the equipment they install. Click here to view the rebate incentives offered for each measure in the Heating & Cooling Efficiency Program.

Please allow up to 90 days from the date all required information is received to process your rebate. Payment will be issued to the account holder and mailing address on record with Dominion — unless the customer has authorized the rebate to be paid to the contractor.

It is the responsibility of the customer to assure that all requirements for the rebate are met. Failure to provide any of the required information will delay processing of your application and could result in non-payment.
