Dominion Virginia Power's Non-Residential Energy Audit Program provides customers with an on-site analysis of energy use in non-residential facilities. Upon documented completion of some or all of the personalized recommended energy efficiency improvements, qualifying customers will receive a refund for a portion of the audit value, up to the full amount.
The Non-Residential Energy Audit Program program is closed to new participants. To be eligible for a rebate, the service must have been completed by a participating contractor by December 24, 2016 and the rebate application must be either postmarked or submitted online by February 7, 2017.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure all additional requested documents are submitted along with your application package for the rebate to be successfully processed.

The Energy Audit provides you with:
This program is open to Dominion Virginia Power non-residential customers who have a demand of 10 megawatts or less and have not opted out of participation. Customers must be responsible for their own electric bill and either be the owner of the building, or be able to secure permission from the building owner to have the audit conducted and identified improvements completed. Customers with both electric and gas equipment are eligible to receive rebates on some of the suggested improvements. The participating contractor you choose to perform the audit will provide the cost for performing the audit as well as any recommended measures. Upon completion of the work, a rebate will be submitted on your behalf, so your out-of-pocket cost will vary depending upon the rebates you qualify for based on the measures you had installed.
The rebate amount is based on the measures installed; however, the average incentive is typically around $5,100. Please note:
Please allow up to 90 days from the date all required information is received to process your rebate. Payment will be issued to the account holder and mailing address on record with Dominion — unless the customer has authorized the rebate to be paid to the contractor.
It is the responsibility of the customer to assure that all requirements for the rebate are met. Failure to provide any of the required information will delay processing of your application and could result in non-payment.
Upon submission of your rebate, an email will be sent to the email address provided on the rebate form confirming the rebate has been submitted for processing. If you have questions, please call 1-888-366-8280.
